Kure Kure Takora, also known in the west as Gimme Gimme Octopus, is a children’s TV show from the 1970s and it is as bonkers as Teletubbys, if not even more so. Takora is a red octopus who is in love with the pink walrus Monro and has magical ninjitsu powers to transform anything. Together with his buddy, the gourd Chonbo, he regularly gets into trouble with the sea cucumber gang and the cigar smoking badger cop Debura. A lot of people growing up during that time hold him in high regards and collectibles from him are regularly sold out!
