Sony Interactive Entertainment dropped some of the biggest announcements during the September 2024 State of Play.

ASTRO BOT
Team ASOBI will bring free downloadable content for ASTRO BOT. The DLC is entitled Speedrun and Specials Bots and it’s coming this fall. The DLC will feature five online speedrun levels and ten new bots.
Ghost of Yōtei
The sequel of the iconic 2020 samurai game Ghost of Tsushima is coming. Sucker Punch Productions will bring Ghost of Yotei for the PS5 in 2025. This sequel is set in 1603. It takes place around Mount Yotei. The protagonist is Atsu, a woman samurai, as the game centers on “underdog vengeance.”
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
Play Aloy in its improved graphics as Guerilla Games will bring Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for PlayStation 5 and PC on October 31. Users who have Horizon Zero Dawn can upgrade to its remastered version for $9.99.
LEGO Horizon Adventures
Play Aloy in her LEGO version, as LEGO Horizon Adventures is coming on November 14.
Alan Wake II DLC The Lake House
Dive deeper into Alan Wake II as new downloadable content entitled The Lake House is coming in October. The Lake House DLC marks another catastrophic event to happen.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins
The upcoming hack-and-slash video game Koei Tecmo is coming on January 17, 2025.
Fantasian Neo Dimension
Get ready to welcome the latest RPG from The Father of Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi as Fantasian Neo Dimension launches on December 5.
Hitman World of Assassination
Experience virtual reality as the world’s best assassin. Hitman World of Assassination is coming on PlayStation VR2 in December.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered
Aspyr will bring the remastered version of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 on December 12.
Lunar Remastered Collection
This collection is returning after 25 years! This JRPG series is coming in a remastered collection. The collection includes Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. Get ready as this remastered collection is coming in spring 2025.
Metro Awakening
Metro Awakening is coming to PlayStation VR2 on November 7.
Monster Hunter Wilds
Hunt monsters in a living and changing world as Monster Hunter Wilds launches on February 28, 2025.
Palworld
Live with the creature Pal as Palworld is now available in Early Access for PS5.
Stellar Blade
The Photo Mode will be available for Stellar Blade this year. Plus, NieR: Automata collaboration DLC has also been announced.
The Midnight Walk
A dark fantasy first-person adventure game is coming for PlayStation 5 with PlayStation VR support in 2025.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
Dotemu and Tribute Game announced the DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. The Radical Reptiles DLC is now available for $3.99.
