Hideo Kojima has revealed new information and footages for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach at the Tokyo Game Show during PLAY! PLAY! PLAY! TGS2024 SPECIAL STAGE. The new footages include Elle Fanning’s character Tomorrow and Shioli Kutsuna’s Rainy. A photography event will be also available in the game.

As for the release date, Kojima said that the release date will be announced sometime next year and the development is not yet done.

Game Overview

Death Stranding is an action game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. This is the first game from Hideo Kojima after he left from Konami in 2015. The first game received positive reviews and received nominations including Game of the Year. Now, the sequel is in development.

The cast of the sequel includes Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna and Troy Baker.
