Dying Light 2 is another anticipation-worthy masterpiece from game publisher Square Enix, developed by Techland to be released next year on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It is the sequel of the highly-acclaimed Dying Light released in 2015 for PC, PS4 and XONE consoles.
It is an upcoming first-person zombie apocalypse theme survival horror action RPG where players will take the role of Aiden Caldwell, the game’s protagonist- an infected survivor. He has exceptional agility and brutal combat skills that make him a powerful ally and a valuable commodity in this dangerous world. He can achieve things that nobody else can. He can enter places where nobody dares and he has unique capabilities to be an agent of change within this decaying metropolis.
Dying Light 2 is set in The City, a massive urban open world that players can explore freely. The map is four times bigger than the original game and divided into seven distinct regions that each has its own landmarks and locations. When exploring the city, players can scavenge different scraps and resources for crafting new items and weapons. Inside the game, players meet different actions and settlements to make different decisions that would fundamentally change the state of the game’s world. Making certain decisions will also open up or seal-off areas in the city, encouraging players to complete multiple playthroughs. It can be played by a single-player and up to four players for a cooperative multiplayer.
