【TRAILER】

The Darkest Dungeon started all out with a legacy that led the lives of inhabitants to the darkest hours of their days. You as the player will discover that you have acquired a dark legacy from a relative who, during the time they were seeking for glory and prosperity, through unearthing the dungeons and catacombs underneath their estate has exhumed openings to dark dimensions. Unfortunately, this has caused to set free plenty of frightful and evil creatures on the world. The ancestor was so afraid of his mistake, he took his own life instead of dealing with this. You, taking the role of the current owner of the estate and the neighboring areas, you are entitled to hire a roster of heroes whom will help you through your journey to purify the estate of its wicked inhabitants.

During your venture throughout the lands, the dungeons underneath and the neighboring lands, there you will discover your ancestor’s memoirs revealing the gruesome deeds he had done for the sake of acquiring wisdom and power. Eventually, you are capable to emit a group into the so-called Darkest Dungeon, the source of the land’s exploitation, using measures to unveil its ultimate form. Inside the darkest chamber, you will encounter the discarnate soul of your ancestor, who now remains as “an Avatar of the Crawling Chaos.” Soon as you defeat your ancestor’s apparition, the heroes fight the Heart of Darkness who is then revealed to be the predecessor of all life in the world.

The heroes are really trying to defeat its physical form at great cost, but the ancestor’s spirit reveals that is now too late. The ancestor frightfully added that his inevitable awakening has caused to end the world. He explains that this is an endless cycle and that you will eventually meet the same fate as he and to the descendants onwards. A horrific statement coming from the ancestor can be heard and it is “Ruin has come to our family.”

• Manage heroes and capture the Darkest Dungeon – The Darkest Dungeon is a turn-based Rouge-like RPG. There are various elements that illuminate the dark world. Dungeons that change every time they enter, countless characters, various facilities, and so on. In such a situation, you aim to capture the dungeon while managing the stress of the heroes.
• Heroes – There are various skills and features depending on the hero. Understand each characteristic in order for you to organize an ideal party. But sometimes throwing down attention is also necessary to survive.
