Life Is Strange: Before the Storm is an upcoming episodic graphic adventure video game that will let you feel all the emotions you couldn’t have imagined. The story revolves around the struggle and the bittersweet change in the life of the sixteen-year-old protagonist of the game, Chloe Price.

Developed by Deck Nine and published by Square Enix. This game is the second installment in the Life Is Strange series. It is considered as a prequel to the previous game title. Coming out on the 6th of March in the US! Good thing is, it is now available for pre-orders. So, place your orders because it will come out soon on all your PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Consoles.

【TRAILER】

The game is set in the hometown of Chloe, Arcadia Bay of Oregon. The story began when Chloe sneaks into a house concert through an old mill. Abruptly, two men caught her and a conflict started to arise. However, Chloe evades them as she was completely distracted when she suddenly saw her schoolmate, Rachel Amber.

The following day, the Chloe and Rachel meet again at Blackwell Academy and decided to skip class. The two girls hop on a cargo train and find themselves ending up at a lookout point. Suddenly, they see a man and a woman kissing in the park that makes Rachel feel so upset. The two girls agreed to steal wine from the local campers and take a walk to a scrapyard. Chloe then confronts Rachel about the sudden change in her feelings, but Rachel chooses to ignore this.

One day, when Chloe meets Rachel again, she reveals that she saw her father, James, through the viewfinder, cheating on her mother. Rachel then ruined a family picture in a burning trash bin and kicked it with all anger, igniting a wildfire.

The next day in school, something serious is waiting for Chloe and Rachel. The two girls have been reprimanded by their Principal for ditching school the last time. Chloe then hides out at the scrapyard where she finds an old truck which appears to be in serious need of restoration.

This day seems to be a not so good day for Chloe. Another bad news is nearly coming her way. That’s the time when she received a phone call from the local drug dealer, Frank Bowers, who wants to arrange a meeting to disclose the debt Chloe owes him. Frank makes a deal with her, and it is to repay him through stealing money from her classmate, Drew, who owes Frank a huge amount of money. However, Chloe was suddenly shocked by another revelation that Drew is being forcefully extorted by another drug dealer named Damon Merrick.

And unfortunately, it seems like revelations are running towards her because of a confrontation she witnessed the following day at the house of Rachel. Her father reveals that the woman they saw him kissing was Rachel’s mother. And that Rachel’s mother, Sera, is a drug addict who went missing after James rejected her request to reunite with Rachel. Chloe then vows to find Sera for Rachel.

From that day on, series of unfortunate events are coming to Chloe’s door and all she had to do is to uncover all the mysteries lurking in every situation and to make the right decisions for her every move. And most importantly, to save the relationship she had with Rachel.

Play as Chloe Price, and witness all of her struggle and the bittersweet change in her life. The game is played from a third-person perspective. Unlike its predecessor, the game does not feature time travel. Instead, the game features the ability “Backtalk.” Players can use this to beckon the attention of Chloe in order to escape in certain dangerous situations. But, be very careful as this feature may also make a condition worse.

Whenever a conversation or commentary is prompted, a dialogue tree will appear on the screen. Also, about making unique decisions, it will temporarily or permanently change the outcome of the story. In addition, the environment of the game can be interacted with and modified. You can even design your own graffiti markings on the walls. Leaving your clever sayings and dramatic drawings everywhere.
