Are you a big fan of horse racing? I guess you know the basics of horse racing right? I’ll give you a brief information of horse racing such as the history and today’s horse racing. Horse racing is a well-known equestrian sport. It involves two or more horses as the jockeys ride it for competition. This sport is considered as one of the most ancient of all sports. Countries with horse racing develop their own traditions. The records track that horse racing comes from Ancient Greece, Babylon, Syria, and Egypt. Horse racing is also seen in myths and legends. Today, this sport is always associated with gambling as this is one of the major parts of the horse racing’s interest.
Now you know the history of horse racing, let’s focus on the game itself. Winning Post debuts in 1993, now it’s the 8th series of the franchise. This is a horse racing simulation game where you game geeks are participating in horse races, but not only that you can breed a horse and build their family to help with the horse-related management! This 2018 edition includes the latest horses data and race program from the 2018 season. You can adjust your choices in giving orders to your favorite horses in Course, Strength and Partner horse. This edition also enhances the 100 historical horses that are included in the 2016 edition.

- Renewed Training System Players can freely give orders to raise their favorite horses by adjusting the three choices, of Course, Strength, and Partner Horse. For viewing horse stats, players will be able to choose between the old 4-grade style (S to C) or a new 16-grade style (S+ to G).
- Dream Match Winning Post 8 2018 will enhance the 100 historical horses that first appeared in the 2016 edition. Once per year, players will be able to directly compete with these horses, transcending through time.
- Bonding Events between Man and Horse Various new events are added to this latest version, which will depict interactions with acquaintances and horses alike.
