But she’s still in the pursuit of expanding her career into the BPO industry. Overcoming technology hurdles, Myrna leads by adopting a good working relationship with her peers. As the eldest in the group, she makes sure that she leads by example and puts in a huge effort to develop herself and her knowledge. Myrna expressed her thanks to Play-Asia.com saying “I am inspired with Play-Asia.com for being the first company to give this kind of opportunity for people like us.”

Finally, Mrs. Fredeluces finished the course and hopes to use her learning in the BPO sooner than later. She added, “I still have 6 more years before retirement and I hope to see myself one day being part of the Play-Asia.com family.”

Therese is one of the youngest students in her group. She took the course to do something productive after she put her studies college degree (BA Psychology) aside to take care of her late grandmother. And she didn’t disappoint. With a great result of communication skills and commitment, she aced the training which gives her the privilege to work at Play-Asia.com’s Customer Service Department in the Philippines.

In her speech, Therese said, “Today, our decisions led us to where we are today. We may serve as an inspiration to those who will follow us.” More so, she added, “Our road trip has ended.” But not for Therese. As she is set to have her Summer OJT with PA Support Subic Ltd., Inc.

Working Hard, Playing Hard, And Giving Back Harder

The graduates have already done their part. This time, it will be Play-Asia.com’s turn. Ria Apas, PA Support Subic Ltd., Inc.-General Manager, is already fixing the documents with DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) for Therese to be able to start her OJT by March.
