Atlus has announced the final Sekaiju no Meikyuu (Etrian Odyssey) game for the Nintendo 3DS. It is going to be the final 3DS entry in the 3D dungeon RPG series. The game is entitled Sekaiju no Meikyuu X. The “X” in the title is read as “Cross.” This “X” refers to the cross between all games in the series.

【OVERVIEW】
“Etria, at the far east. High Lagaard, the northern kingdom. Armoroad, the seaside city. Tharsis, the farthest city. And adventurers of the vast expanse of nations all over the world. Gather in the floating city Maginia, and aim for the treasure on the remote island of Lemuria in the distant sea.” Under the decree of Princess Persephone, adventurers seeking unknown treasure and honor gather in the floating city Maginia from nations all over the world.
Sekaiju no Meikyuu X brings you to the faraway island of Lemuria. Lemuria is said to be covered with thick clouds and always has a very stormy weather. Despite the bad weather condition, the adventurers still set forth on their journey to Lemuria. Fortunately, they’ve endured the raging storm and arrived on Lemuria.
Their place of destination is Yggdrasil or also known as the giant world tree. A legendary treasure is said to be buried in this tree by the ancient civilization Lemuria. But there was nothing. The fortune and honor sought by adventurers and possibly unknown adventure lie dormant in Lemuria. So adventurers, keep your pride in your heart and continue to move forward.
