A content update is coming to the blood-sucking RPG, Vampyr, later this summer as announced by Focus Home Interactive. This update will introduce two new game modes and various bug and optimization adjustment to improve the game.
Also, the update provides new and existing players the ultimate gaming satisfaction. The developers add further replayability for the existing players while more options are waiting for those who haven’t entered the dark adventure of Vampyr.
So, what is this update all about? Here’s an overview of it, via Focus Home Interactive:
This will include two new game difficulty modes which add further replayability for existing players and more options for those who haven’t yet sunk their teeth into this dark adventure.
As well as bringing a host of optimization tweaks, the upcoming update will introduce a ‘Story’ mode that de-emphasizes combat and a cranked-up, more challenging Hard mode. The Story mode places a greater focus on narrative, allowing players to experience Dr. Reid’s journey with less challenging combat. On the other end of the scale, Hard mode makes combat much more difficult. Players will receive less experience from killing enemies too, forcing them to rely even more on embracing citizens to grow in power.
However, the update doesn’t have the exact date when it’s going to launch. But no worries folks, we’ll keep you posted.

【STORY】
Blood spattered everywhere, darkness and extreme violence engulfed the whole town of London in the year 1918. Follow the role of Dr. Jonathan Reid who is a surgeon and a man of science renowned for his devotion to saving lives during the Spanish Flu epidemic. After World War I, Dr. Jonathan flew back to his homeland, London.
However, when he returns home, a stranger transformed him into a horrifying creature of the night, a vampire. With this cursed vampirism, he must set forth on a hell-like journey in order to find his humanity. It is only about two things, save the city or impel its ruins.
