Nintendo’s library is a home to countless iconic games in history. But sometimes, it can also be a home to the most bizarre games of all time. And one of Nintendo’s most bizarre game is the WarioWare series.
For the past two decades, the WarioWare franchise has been Nintendo’s reason to allow its developers to produce the weirdest yet creative game ideas. And the franchise is back at it again with its latest entry, WarioWare Gold.
WarioWare Gold is a Nintendo 3DS game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. Gold is ready to revive the charming and strange world of WarioWare series after a five-year break. And WarioWare Gold not just made its return for the little games, but something big is about to happen.
This includes full voice acting for all of the characters. Plus, an additional feature that allows the players to overdub their own voice over the game’s cutscenes.
Well, looks like WarioWare Gold is really all about fun and games! And to boost your excitement, Nintendo released a trailer that shows almost everything about the game. And the good thing, it is in English voice over. Who’s excited for this? Watch the video below.

GAMEPLAY
In WarioWare Gold, the player must complete “microgames”, which are minigames with short time limits. If the player succeeds in a microgame, the game proceeds to the next. If the player fails, they lose one of four lives. And if the player runs out of lives, the game ends and the player’s high score is displayed, which is determined by how many microgames were passed. During gameplay, the game will naturally speed up every few microgames, with its difficulty increasing each time a boss microgame is completed.
The microgames featured in Gold return from multiple games in the series, including WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames!, WarioWare: Twisted!, WarioWare: Touched!, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, WarioWare: D.I.Y., and Game & Wario (from the mini-game, Gamer, which also made a return in this game known as, Sneaky Gamer), in addition to new ones for a total of over 300. These microgames involve pressing buttons, tilting the system and touching the touch screen and blowing on the system’s microphone.
RELEASE DATES
