Gamescom 2018 Awards
Gamescom 2018 has finally kicked off! A lot of players are in Germany today to try out the latest and the upcoming games. And Gamescom wouldn’t be Gamescom without its sought-after awards ceremony! However, the nominees of this year’s Gamescom 2018 Awards were announced earlier before the main event itself. The jury from Germany, international publications, and retailers decided the winners. The presentation of the Gamescom 2018 Awards in eleven genres and five platform categories took place in its opening day.
Without any further ado, here are the winners of Gamescom 2018 Awards!

Super Mario Party (Nintendo)
Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Microsoft)
Forza Horizon 4 (Microsoft)
Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
Landwirtschafts-Simulator 19 (astragon Entertainment)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (Blizzard Entertainment)
FIFA 19 (Electronic Arts)
Total War: Three Kingdoms (Koch Media)
Category Group: Platform
Marvel’s Spider-Man (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Microsoft)
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Nintendo)
Anno 1800 (Ubisoft)
Shadowgun War Games (MADFINGER Games)
All of these winning titles in both categories are eligible for the top award of Best of Gamescom by the jury. For the Best Hardware, Best Multiplayer Game and Best Virtual Reality Game will be awarded by the international jury of experts this Saturday at 3 PM on the Red Bull Stage. Other notable awards such as Best Booth, Best of CAMPUS and the Gamescom Indie awards and various fan categories such as “Most Wanted” Award, Consumer Award, and Best Streamer/Let’s Player will be crowned on that day.
