A Bunch of Interesting Details Revealed For Battlefield V – See it All Here
Battlefield V
PS4™, XONE™ & PC – EU, US, ASIA & JAPAN
The November 20-due World War II shooter by Electronic Arts and DICE, Battlefield V, received its new trailer dubbed as “This is Battlefield V.”
The trailer showed off plenty of freshly picked pieces of information for the upcoming first-person shooter game. These include details about the game’s maps, the official name and details for the new battle royale mode, single-player “War Stories,” multiplayer features and more!
What to Expect?
First off, developer DICE dropped some pretty interesting hints about the new battle royale mode of the game. It is now confirmed that this mode will be called “Firestorm.” Firestorm will feature 16 teams of four players which results to a total of 64 players.
Call up your dream team and immerse yourselves in this competition. Survive all the hurdles that you will meet on your journey and be the last team standing in “the largest ‘Battlefield’ map ever.”
Furthermore, the trailer revealed other details about Battlefield V’s multiplayer features. Players will encounter eight various settings, and one of them befalls during one of the greatest tank battles in human history in North Africa, DICE said. Also, other territories were seen in the trailer such as Rotterdam, Norway, and France.
Finally, the trailer revealed some of the developer’s plans for the game’s post-launch. DICE is currently working on a single-player war story mode called “The Last Tiger.” In addition, free content will be given to players under what the developer calls, “Tides of War.”
Furthermore, the first DLC for Battlefield V will be called “The Fall of Europe” that will take place in France. While the second chapter will be available in early 2019 and will debut in a new location in Greece.
Last week, DICE and Electronic Arts announced that they will have to push back the release date of Battlefield V by almost a month. The World War II shooter will now release on November 20 instead of its previously announced October 19 release date.
From the sound of the blog post, DICE is taking the extra time for some “meaningful improvements” and to “make some final adjustments to the core gameplay.”
On the other hand, the open beta for the game is still scheduled to run on Sept. 6 (or Sept. 4 for early access players). And according to DICE, they are excited to see the players experience the game and receive their feedback.

With the Open Beta just around the corner, we are excited about the millions of you who will join us and experience the game. And we fully expect to see even more feedback coming our way.

Absolutely loving the #BattlefieldV beta. As a long time BF fan going back to no 3D spotting has made a big positive difference. Also the attrition system feels good, maybe needs a tweak (less stations around the map would be better imo). Oh, Rotterdam map is great too.
