I know this might come as a shock to some of you, but Dragon Ball is turning 34 years old this December. Which doesn’t mean it’s beyond its prime, it just means it gets better with age. Like a good whine. Or a cheese. Well, euphemistic metaphors aside, the franchise is still well alive and kicking with Dragon Ball Super carrying on the tv-show legacy and Dragon Ball Fighterz and Heroes covering the video game sector. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that as of 2018, Dragon Ball is one of the top ten highest-grossing media franchises of all time.
