The 2D fighting game Million Arthur: Arcana Blood for arcades in Japan is getting its first ever port to the Sony console. Square Enix announced during the Million Arthur: Arcana Blood official tournament finals that it is heading to the PlayStation 4 in Japan.

And, we’re just two months away from its launch date as the 2D fighting game would be making its way to the PS4 on November 29 this year!

Million Arthur: Arcana Blood PS4 Version First Details

Overview

Million Arthur: Arcana Blood is a 2D fighting game that was originally released as an arcade game in Japan in November 2017. Fans of the game can surely enjoy the fighting elements of the game as well as its story which is supervised by Kazuma Kamachi.

In addition, players can also enjoy the game with its classic background music and productions which are executed in different places. Plus, there are other elements which can only be found in this game, such as the theme song “Die or Dice?” sung by Kotoko, the theme background music for Nitou Arthur and Iai Arthur composed by Yoko Shimomura, and more.

Furthermore, famous characters from the Million Arthur series will also make some appearances in the game. These include Arthur Kenjutsu no Shiro and Thief Arthur, as well as Lise from Seiken Densetsu 3 and more which will participate in flashy battles.

New Characters

The arcade version of the game is originally composed by 10 playable characters. But here in the PlayStation 4 version of the game, there will be 3 new additional playable characters.

Joining the fight are Yamaneko Arthur (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu) from Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur, Other World-Style Koume Saiyama (voiced by Aoi Yuuki) from Lord of Vermillion IV, and Other-World Style Iori Yagami from The King of Fighters XIV.

Furthermore, the arcade version will add support Other World-Style Akira Oono from the anime High Score Girl, on August 28. She will also be included in the PS4 version which makes it a total of 13 playable characters and 31 support knights.

Additional Story Mode, Online Battles, and More

In addition to the “Story Mode” in the arcade version, the Million Arthur: Arcana Blood PS4 version will add a new story mode entitled, “Episode of Arcana Blood,” which leads to the true ending.

Moreover, the online battles of the game will feature both “Online Ranked Matches,” where players can battle against other players in closer range, as well as “Room Matches,” where up to six players can gather to compete and spectate.

A “Training Mode” will also be featured in the game where players can practice their skills for different situations. Plus a “Gallery Mode” where players can collect character pictures and more.
