Everything You Need To Know About Melmetal
Melmetal is the confirmed evolution of Meltan, making the tiny Steel-type Pokémon the first Mythical that can evolve.

You need 400 Meltan Candies to feed Meltan in order for it to evolve as Melmetal. After its evolution, you can send it over to Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee.

And to heighten that excitement, the Pokemon Company and Nintendo is happy to announce the evolution of Meltan to Melmetal.
With the confirmation of Melmetal as the evolution of Meltan, we can already surmise that this marks the first Mythical Steel inclusion in the game. And oh, you read that right. Meltman is a Mythical Pokémon. Meltan is not a Legendary Pokémon normal an ordinary one that one can get from certain regions. Meltan is a Mythical Pokémon.
By the looks of the new trailer of Pokémon, we can see Professor Oak (Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee) and Professor Willow (Pokémon Go) on a discussion about Meltan. In this trailer, we can see Willow explaining to Oak that Meltan loves to absorb metal and merge. And from there, we get the evolution from Meltan to Melmetal.

Meltan can be derived once Pokémon Go trainers receive a Mystery Box. In order to get a Myster Box, a trainer must transfer his/her first Pokémon from Go to Let’s Go. The box will close after but will open later on after quite some time.
Obviously, you’re dying now to know how you can even make Meltan evolve into Melmetal. Easy. All you have to do is to obtain 400 Meltan Candies.
Another easier option to get 400 Meltan Candies in Pokémon Go is using Meltan as a Buddy Pokémon.
Oh, by the way, you’ll also be thrilled to know the brand new move of Melmetal called the Double Iron Bash. This is a powerful Steel-type attack that hits twice. Using this will result in the opposing Pokémon to flinch.
Evolving Meltan into Melmetal
