Starbreeze Studios and 505 Games will bring the upcoming first-person shooter developed by Overkill Software. Let’s welcome OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead! The game is based on the popular comic book series created by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore, The Walking Dead.
First, it was initially released on November 8, 2018. However, Starbreeze announced that OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead debuts on gaming consoles this February 6th, 2019 in North America, February 7th, 2019 in Japan and February 8th, 2019 in Europe for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, need not worry PC users because it’s now available on Steam!
OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead is a first-person shooter that sets in Washington, D.C where an outbreak that resurrects the dead back to life. Fight for your lives as the dead versus the living. It’s the survival of the fittest against the dead in the post-apocalyptic world of Washington, D.C. In this dangerous situation, cooperate up to three friends on different kinds of missions, securing supplies not just for you but also to the living survivors to strengthen the camp against the critical threat from the living and the dead.
Aidan, Maya, Grant, and Heather brought together to save the survivors from the outbreak of the dead by necessity and by means of survival. This is inspired by Robert Kirkman‘s original graphic novel, The Walking Dead and it’s now a popular American post-apocalyptic horror-television series.
Explore North America’s capital after the outbreak and discover what happened. Seek through the districts of the desolate city to search for survivors, necessities, supplies, and loot. Each character has specific abilities and skills. So, think, fight, and live. Plan your execution to help your team. Either you hold the frontline, support with medical needs or killing the enemies.
