Last October this year, Descendent Studios, the team behind Descent: Underground, revealed that they are currently working on a new project with Little Orbit. And guess what? This new title that they are working on is based on a 1994’s 3D-first-person shooter video game of the same name, Descent.
This 1994 six degrees shooter Descent, is now coming to all major consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 2019 in its best version. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, Descent promises to bring something new and modern to old Descent fans that will make them love the game even more as well as to introduce the series to a new generation of gamers.
Furthermore, pre-orders for the game are already opened last October which allows players to gain access to the PC Beta, which already launched last month, as well as a custom version of the Generation III “Viola” ship with an exclusive paint job, special PC Beta challenges to unlock exclusive pre-season cosmetic rewards, multipass upgrade for multiplayer seasons one and two with additional gameplay challenges, and “Secret Missions” downloadable content with additional single-player missions, which will be accessible when the game officially launches in 2019.
Moreover, players who already own Descent: Underground on Steam, will receive all the above benefits for free.
