Let’s Recap all the Biggest Announcements from Nintendo Direct 2019!
The most awaited presentation of huge announcements for the new and existing Switch games had successfully aired yesterday with the Nintendo Direct 2019. The presentation brought plenty of fresh information about the upcoming Switch games that you will surely love. Plus, we also got updates on a bunch of our favorite existing Nintendo Switch titles.

Super Mario Maker 2
The first one to be revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct is the brand new sequel of Super Mario Maker which will be called Super Mario Maker 2. This upcoming game will hold brand new features and elements that are in development. The game is slated for a June 2019 release. So, stay tuned for more updates, Mario fans!

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake
A full remake of the Game Boy classic The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019. The game features a recreated cutscene version of the Game Boy opening of Link’s Awakening, seeing the main protagonist of the game, Link, who has washed ashore on the Island of Koholint after a storm wrecked his boat.
The company also revealed that the upcoming remake of the game will feature a fully revamped visuals from the art style to the character 3D models, fully 3D animation setting and more. Furthermore, Link’s awakening Switch version will still be in the top-down camera style.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The Ultimate Spring update Version 3.0 is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! The game will be getting an additional character in the form of DLC. And it is none other than Joker. Joker is set to arrive in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before the end of April. In addition, several more Smash-themed amiibo figures are on the way too, such as Pokemon trainer, Squirtle, Metal Gear Solid’s Snake and more!

The vibrant and colorful environment of Yoshi’s Crafted World is also on full display along with Yoshi’s new adventure. Join Yoshi in rafting, racing solar cars, as well as having a nice ride on a plane. But of course, you must also get ready for challenging boss fights that will come along your way.
Furthermore, there will be various costumes that will be available in the game that can be obtained through the in-game coins that you’ve collected. And take note, these costumes can save you up a little from the attacks of your enemies. Coming up on March 29th!

BoxBoy + BoxGirl

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
From the creators of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, and DMC, Ninja Theory‘s critically-acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is heading to Nintendo Switch and is expected for a Spring 2019 release. Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice really nailed its courageous look at a very sensitive subject matter, which is mental illness, as it captured the hearts of a lot of fans in the world.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses
The latest Nintendo Direct was filled with huge announcements, but, the presentation went even bigger when Fire Emblem: Three Houses was finally shown. The game was the centerpiece of Nintendo Direct and even got an extended trailer revealing tons of narrative details, gameplay and discovered how characters will form bonds.
In this upcoming game, there are three ruling powers who share the land in relative harmony. As a player, you are either a male or female Mercenary who travels with a group and is under the command of your father named Jeralt. After an unexpected incident, reveals a mystery power hidden within. As the story progresses, you’ll find the Garreg March Monastery where you will be receiving an offer to teach at the Officer’s Academy.
Later on, you’ll soon discover a mysterious girl named Sothis who appears within your mind.
Furthermore, the Officers Academy in this game is made up of three titular houses. First is for students of the Adrestian Empire, led by Edelgard and future Emperor. They are the Black Eagles. Next is the house for the student of Faerghus, led by Prince Dimitri, Blue Lions. And last is the house of Golden Deer which is for the students of Leicester Alliance. Golden Deer is under the leadership of Claude who is the heir of the noble family that leads the Alliance.
You will act as the professor of the students and train them in particular skills to aid you in the battlefield. In addition, you are responsible to build a lesson plan that will help in the development process of the students.
Your students are allowed to explore the academy and form bonds with other students, which will influence their performances on the battlefield. Remember, here in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you are the hero that the world needs. Coming out on July 26th!

There’s still plenty of game announcements that was revealed during Nintendo Direct 2019 and most of the titles are scheduled to release this year such as the Disney game, Disney Tsum Tsum Festival, Rune Factory 4 Special, Oninaki, Dead by Daylight, and the Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition that is launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch this Fall. Moreover, it was also revealed that the Rune Factory 5 is also in development.
