After the PlayStation Vita release last 2016, the Disgaea franchise publisher, NIS America, has confirmed that Neo Atlas 1469 will set forth on a journey to the Western regions this April 2019 in a physical standard edition for Nintendo Switch. This is a simulation game developed by Artdink and also published it in Japan. Meanwhile, NIS America got the publishing rights to the Western region. The game sets in 15th century Europe wherein “The Age of Discovery” emerges. European ships travel around the world to search for new tradings and new partners. Mostly Europeans explorers search for gold, silver, and spices. Some of the popular explorers in The Age of Discovery period were Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan, Vasco de Gama, and more.
Now, let’s go back to the game. The explorers are searching what lies at the ends of the planet Earth. You play as a trader who takes on a journey on the seas to find undiscovered lands, discover riches and secret and reveals the truth of the world. Use them to create your own map to find the undiscovered secrets form myths to legends.
Listen to the reports of your admirals as they go back to their exploration. However, be careful because it might be authentic or dubious. So, it’s your choice to approve or disapprove. Take advantage of the landmarks to pinpoint places of interest and it might lead to uncovered regions that no man has discovered. Establish your credibility for trade routes with other nations. With this, you can now increase your influence around the world.
