Last September 13 during the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo has unveiled us that Kirby is back on the Nintendo 3DS port with the enhanced version of the Kirby’s Epic Yarn for Nintendo Wii which is the Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn. The Wii title was first released last October 2010 in Japan and North America and followed by Europe and Australia in February 2011.

Then, in January 2019, along with the announcement of the official release date for Yoshi for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has announced that Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is coming for the 3DS family this March 7th in Japan and March 8th in North America and Europe. So, are you ready to join Kirby in his epic journey in this platform video game?
The game starts as our cute little fluff ball Kirby strolls around Dream Land. On his way, Kirby finds a tomato that resembles his favorite snack, the Maxim Tomato. However, this tomato is a Metamato owned by Yin-Yarn, the sorcerer who turned the citizens of Dream Land into a yarn. Kirby is hungry, so he ignores Yin-Yam’s command. As a result, Kirby enters in a yarn world called the Patch Land.
With his new yarn body, Kirby can now transform into the knitted wonders that everyone can imagine such as tanks and flying saucers. Take advantage of his new abilities in his yarn body as he retains his classic copy abilities. Everything retains from the Wii System but this is the enhanced version. Additional features are included as such the Ravel Abilities, new mini-games that features some of Kirby’s enemies like King Dedede and Meta Knight, new furniture to personalize and the new Devilish mode for add some challenges throughout the platform game.
