The Devil May Cry franchise has been around since 2001 with the first release of Devil May Cry for PlayStation 2. As the well-known publisher, Capcom has already announced the fifth installment to this franchise which is the Devil May Cry 5 and yet, some of the fans are not familiar with the storyline especially to the newbies who want to play this game on March 8th.  So, need not worry, folks, because Capcom got your back on this one.

Capcom realized that some people are already confused or lost in the story of the Devil May Cry franchise. With that, Capcom has released a new trailer of Devil May Cry 5 that introduces the recap of the Devil May Cry story. This serves as an introduction for the new players of this franchise and a refresher for those who are playing it for years.

For the overview of the game, it sets several years after the events in Devil May Cry 2. The central protagonist of the series, Dante, is hired by a man known as V to eliminate the demonic attacks across the world. Meanwhile, one of the main protagonists, Nero, has set up his own demon hunting agency on a van with a neon Devil May Cry sign. Now the demon hunting slayers are on the move to eliminate the demons.
