Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate

The popular Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Daro ka manga, light series, and anime series, is getting a dungeon exploration RPG going by the name of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate (ダンジョンに出会いを求めるのは間違っているだろうか インフィニト・コンバーテ) as announced by developer and publisher 5pb in June 2017, along with a teaser trailer.

The game is originally planned for a March 29, 2018, release date for the PS4 and PS Vita, via a promotional video which can be seen below.

After a few months of its reveal, the game finally received its first full trailer, showcasing both the game’s cast, cutscenes, and gameplay. You can watch the video below, courtesy of Dualshockers.

However, in December 2017, the publisher announced that they have to push back the release date of the game to summer due to “various circumstances.” 5pb then have to delay the game again until 2019. The Spring 2019 release date of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate is seen on the official website of the game.

The website also revealed that Yuka Iguchi will perform the game’s theme song, “Treasure,” and will be released as part of “Under the Same Sky” single that includes DanMachi movie version’s theme song.

Game Overview

Players follow the role of both Bell Cranel and Ais Wallenstein, as they traverse through their individual episodes. Each group will have pre-chosen support characters that will contribute their unique skills in the battlefield. After beating the game, the player will have the opportunity to choose your team and take the post-game extra dungeon.

There will be a central hub where players can take quests from guilds, choose between goddess’, such as Hestia that unlocks skills for the player character, buy, sell, and strengthen your equipment at the market, and collect information at the pub.

Lastly, Infinite Combate will feature a hot spring area where the characters can go on dates and interact in co-sleeping events, that serves as post-game bonus content.
