Game Overview

Just like with Super Robot Wars X, Super Robot Wars T will continue the recent addition of anime series that only include ships, like Arcadia of My Youth: Endless Orbit SSX.

However, the biggest surprise for everyone is that Cowboy Bebop will also be added to the roster of Super Robot Wars T. Aside from Cowboy Bebop, 3 more titles will make their grand debut in the series, and they are:

Other titles that might interest you is the return of Aura Battler Dunbine and a more thorough portrayal of the follow-on OVA. The inclusion of The King of Braves GaoGaiGar is also fantastic, as well as the return of Armored Trooper VOTOMS.

And if you’re wondering what the “T” in the title stands for, it’s Terra that means Earth.

Here’s the full list of the included series in the game:

Do you happen to know which Asian eshop has the English language version? Both the Philippines and Singapore do not have eshops currently. There’s also the question of how we can avail of the DLC if we do buy the physical cart…

    • Patricia Jaucian says:

      Hi Leonard,

If you want to avail the English release of SRW T, the only option you have is to purchase the SEA physical release of the game as it is the only confirmed English language version of the game. Until now, it is still “likely” that the JP version of SRW T will have English support, possibly due to the way Bandai Namco Switch releases so far has had JP and SEA parity. No confirmation yet. You can get the Asia physical version of the game here at Playasia.

In addition, you can set up a JP account on the JP Nintendo eShop for you to purchase the DLC of the game.

Hello, just want to comment something…

The JP Nintendo eShop has SRW T on preorder, and right now the page says that the only supported language is Japanese, unlike other upcoming games I checked in the store (Resident Evil HD, DOA Xtreme 3 Scarlet, and the inevitable FF7 port).

Now, I don’t mind getting the game in the Japanese eShop (I’ve been playing these games for a long time, so I know how to play the game in JP), but I don’t think that the JP version will support English.

Nevertheless, have a nice day 🙂

        • Patricia Jaucian says:

          Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for your nice view about this. And yes, knowing the fact that the developer/publisher has no official statement about this, it’s better to get the Asia physical release of the game, which is the only confirmed version that has English language support. And you can grab yours here at Playasia if you haven’t pre-order yours yet.

Thank you for visiting us 🙂

  2. Terra says:

According to the Japanese eshop, this game will be in Japanese only, so I don’t think it’s likely that it will have English subs. Games like Ace Attorney that have English support list it under available languages on the Eshop but this isn’t the case for SRW.

More news. Apparently publisher just admitted that DLC bonuses will not be present in SRW T Nintendo Switch SEA version.

It would be nice to notify buyers in advance.

  4. Brian says:

    Hi Patricia,

Now that you guys have the physical Japanese edition on hand, can we get a confirmation on whether it has English or Chinese support or not?

Specifically I’m looking at the Premium Anime Song edition for the Switch.

    • Sergio says:

I am in the same case as Brian ^^

      Any info would be appreciated.

      • Patricia Jaucian says:

        Hi Sergio,

Unfortunately, SRW T JP version supports no other languages. Pure Japanese.
