It was in September last year when publisher Spike Chunsoft announced that the upcoming sequel for the original game of Kenka Bancho Otome, will hit the streets of Japan in 2019 for the PlayStation Vita as Kenka Bancho Otome 2nd Rumble!!
In case you missed it, the developer behind Kenka Bancho Otome 2nd Rumble!! is none other than Red Entertainment Corporation. In November last year, the publisher revealed the definite release date as well as the Limited Edition for the game via Twitter, which can be seen below.

And yes, we’re just 2 days away from the game’s official launch in Japan. At the same time, a Limited Edition of the game has been announced with the following inclusions:
- PS Vita Game: Kenka Bancho Otome 2nd Rumble!!
- Box packaging featuring an original illustration
- Original drama CD “Hinako, Take Charge While I’m Gone!”
- Creation materials, short story, and a comic booklet “The Sakaguchi File” (comic illustrated by Chie Shimada)
- Six “Thank You!” message cards
- Six “Sleeping Face” snapshots
Game Overview
Kenka Bancho Otome 2nd Rumble!! is a fighting game genre set a year after the happenings of the original title. By the looks of it, all the characters in the game have either graduated or at least moved on to the next level of their school life. To be more specific, the game’s heroine, Hinako Nakayama, is now a second-year student.
Hinako will be joined by all the previous guys from the first game including Totomaru Minowa, Takayuki Konparu, Rintarou Kira, Yuuta Mirakou, and Houou Onigashima. In addition, a new character named Tenma Sagara will appear in the game with the goal of becoming the top delinquent.
Note: As of the time of writing, no English language support and localization for the game has been announced.

Thanks to her twin brother Hikaru’s plan, protagonist Hinako had no choice but to disguise herself as a boy to attend Shishiku Academy, the top bad boy academy in the prefecture. However, through fights for top dog at the academy, rivalries with other schools, and the friends that she has come to know, a year after she entered the school she truly feels that “Shishuku is where I belong.”
A new spring has arrived.
Hinako, now in her second year and the top dog of Shishuku, will welcome the new school term in a position to be pursued by the first-year students. Meanwhile, there are rumors going around that “Shishuku might be closing down…”
