Release Date Delay & Demo
Last year, Kadokawa Games announced in a presentation that Extreme and Chara-Ani’s compiled remake of Langrisser I & II will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 7, 2019. However, it was revealed on the game’s official website that the game has been pushed back for an April 18th release date.
Since this upcoming game will be the very first remake for the two Langrisser series, developer Chara-Ani wants to make sure that they will release a game that will be appreciated in today’s generation.
According to the developer, they will use the extra two months to further improve the game’s overall quality. Chara-Ani intends to regain the magic of the tactical RPG series while improving the games with renewed graphics and a better UI.
To make amends for the game’s release, the team also decided to release a demo which happened last February via the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop in Japan.
The demo features split stages for both games. The first three levels are from the Langrisser I while levels four through six are from Langrisser II. The demo also includes the “Classic Mode,” which allows players to witness the newly illustrated and classic artworks.

Do we know if the game will have any English support
Hi Michael,
Unfortunately, there’s no English language support for this game. As of now, it’s only in pure Japanese.
Best Regards,
Playasia Team
Well, I guess it’s time to take Japanese lessons. XD
I really hope that they plan on translating it to English one day. I miss those games so much.
Well if they get an English port even if only subtitles I will buy it
