Nintendo™ Switch – US, EU, Asia & Japan

Japan is just two days away from the release of Bandai Namco‘s newest installment in the Super Dragon Ball Heroes series, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission. Since our folks in Japan will get to enjoy the game a day earlier than the West, a Japanese launch trailer was released first.

The trailer kicks off with a couple of in-game scenes followed by the appearance of the game’s logo before going to the story. We get to see the game’s protagonist Beat dressed up on his superhero suit, before the video transitions to the Arcade mode, where players can choose and relive the most iconic rival battles from the dragon ball timeline that helped to define the franchise.

The creation mode was also seen where players can build card and missions from scratch. Before the trailer officially comes to its end, Bandai Namco spent the last remaining seconds to show off well-known characters from the Dragon Ball Universe such as Goku, Vegeta and so much more.

You can watch the trailer below.

Game Overview

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a card battle game that will allow players to form a team of 7 cards from a wide variety of 1,160 cards, and enjoy seven-verses-seven card-based battles. The game will feature fighters from across all the Dragon Ball universes with over 350 fighters available in its roster.

Dragon Ball fans can also expect for transformations never seen before in the series as well as a brand-new character designed by the mangaka (manga creator) of Dragon Ball Super, Toyotarou.

The game is set in a place called Hero Town which is described by Bandai Namco as an alternate reality where a Dragon Ball card game is the most popular form of entertainment.

Follow the role of the protagonist of the game named Beat and follow his adventure to become known in the world as the Super Dragon Ball Heroes’ champion. However, it will never be an easy battle. Get ready to face the games’ antagonists from the virtual game which appears in Hero Town and start destroying everything that comes in their way.

Join Beat as he jumps into the game world and teams up with various famous Dragon Ball characters as they try to bring back the peace in the real world.
