Koei Tecmo‘s latest expansion for Attack on Titan 2, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle has just been announced recently, yet, Koei Tecmo is pretty active on feeding us with plenty of updates for the game.
Recently, the company released a new gameplay video for the game featuring the new weapon to the table, “Thunder Spear.” This weapon can be used against the Armored Titan when a normal blade just won’t cut it. In addition, it has been said that the Thunder Spear can completely take down a Titan with just a single blow. How lovely is that?

Game Overview
Final Battle will serve as a major expansion for the 2018-released Attack on Titan 2 video game featuring characters and missions from the third season of the anime, now with over 40 playable characters, original episodes to expand the story. The game will also bring new weapons to the table such as Thunder Spears which can be used to against the Armored Titan when a normal blade just won’t cut it.
In addition, this expansion features a Wall Reclamation Mode, where you get to form your own squad and reclaim territory from the Titans, and an anti-personnel battle experience where you battle ODM-equipped killers in wild aerial showdowns.
A.O.T. 2: Final Battle will be available physically that comes with the Attack on Titan 2 base game and this new upcoming expansion. On the other hand, if you happen to own the base Attack on Titan 2 game, you can get the Final Battle expansion via a digital purchase as an Upgrade Pack at a reduced price.
