Who’s excited to experience the legendary fantasy adventure in Rune Factory 4 Special on Nintendo Switch like never before? If you are, well, for you to become more interested as Marvelous recently shared an update regarding the upcoming game.
During the second Rune Factory Channel broadcast, Marvelous revealed that there will be two new elements for Rune Factory 4 Special: Voice Comments and Another Episode.

Voice Comments
“Voice Comments” from 15 voice actors will be included in the game. Its contents include stories from the recording booth, thoughts on the characters, and other must-hear comments for fans.
Another Episode
On the last Rune Factory Channel broadcast, Marvelous’ Shiro Maekawa had a suggestive reaction regarding whether or not you will be able to marry Ventuswill, but unfortunately you will not be able to tie the knot with the the dragon character in this game. While Marvelous considered whether it was feasible to be able to marry Ventuswill, it came to the conclusion that it was impossible as it would shake the foundation of the story.
However, Rune Factory 4 Special will include a new element called “Another Episode.” While the details are still unknown, you will be able to see a new side to Ventuswill.

Release Date
Rune Factory 4 Special is confirmed for a July 25th release this year on the Nintendo Switch in Japan and Asia. Meanwhile, although it is confirmed for a Western release, its official launch date is yet to be announced. Worry not though western fans, the game is slated to release sometime this year on your regions.
