Studio Nanafushi will release the side-scrolling action game, Dead or School, to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Dead or School is currently on Steam Early Access. Now, console users will get the chance to play this side-scrolling action game this August 29 in Japan.

The game sets in metropolitan Tokyo where zombies have conquered the great metropolis. With this, citizens are bound to be safe in underground shelters and to live quietly. However, the main protagonist Hisako heard the word “school” from her grandmother. School is where children are sent to play and to learn. It is a known paradise for the children. Hisako dreams of this school. However, one day she is on the underground train heading to the world full of zombies. Will despair welcome her? And what will happen to her once she steps out?

Take on the zombie with this hack-and-slash girl action RPG as you collect items and collect powerful weapons. There’s customization of weapons and enhanced abilities such as the attack, weight, rare effects and more. Save the great Tokyo from the hordes of zombies in iconic places such as Shinjuku, Asakusa, Akihabara, and Roppongi. According to Gematsu, Dead or School first print copies will include an original soundtrack CD.

As of now, there’s no official trailer for the PS4 and Switch versions of Dead or School. But there’s an official trailer for the PC version of this game. Check it out below.
