We are a month away from the official release date of The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors. And, are you wondering if the development of this legendary SNES game has finished already? Well, folks, it looks like its target is locked for a July release date!

The game publisher Taito and the game developer Natsume Atari have announced that The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors or The Ninja Warriors: Once Again in Japan has gone gold!

Game Overview

The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors, also known as The Ninja Warriors Once Again, is an upcoming beat ’em up video game developed by Natsume Atari and published by Taito. According to Resetera, the Japanese version will only be available digitally while the Asia version will be available both physically and digitally.

This is the remake of the 1994 game The Ninja Warriors Again which is also the remake of the 1987 game The Ninja Warriors. So 1994 The Ninja Warriors (ニンジャウォーリアーズ) is a beat ’em up game for Super Nintendo Entertainment System or SNES. It was released in Japan by Taito in 1994 and 1995 by Titus in the Western regions.

According to the translation from the official website via Gematsu, this game will retain the 16-bit style to maintain the retro style feels especially for the players who are nostalgic once they grab this game. But since this is a 2019 remake of this beat ’em up game, the graphics will be enhanced covering the character resolution, pattern amount and more to match with the latest hardware of the video game consoles of today. Plus, there will be a two-player co-op mode which is not available in 1994 The Ninja Warriors.
