Skybound Games and Beamdog have announced that the remake version of Baldur’s Gate with the title The Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Pack is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Mark your calendar, folks, as the release date is in September. Meanwhile, the Europe folks will receive this game in October.
This enhanced edition was first released on Microsoft Windows on November 2012 then followed by the release on iPad, OS X, Android, and Linux. Now, the console owners will get the chance to play this fantasy RPG in the enhanced version.
This marks the 20th anniversary of the series which includes the original Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition and it also includes all the downloadable contents, the quest contents, and the Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion which is the connection between the two games.
Since the release of the original Baldur’s Gate in December 1998, it has set the standard for Dungeon and Dragons computer RPG. You are going somewhere but forced under mysterious circumstances and you will find yourself in the middle of the conflict that the Sword Coast is on the verge of war. However, there’s more beyond these circumstances, beyond more sinister than you could imagine. Explore the Sword Coast for the search of the truth!
