US will get it first on January 28, 2020, followed by its EU and AU release on February 14, 2020. Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is an upcoming brutal turn-based action strategy game published by Curve Digital, in collaboration with Kuju and Gaumont. The game is heading to Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch late this year. It is based on the hit Netflix series, Narcos, an American crime drama series that relates the main events that happened in Colombia during the late 1970s, as well as the life of the well known “drug lord” Pablo Escobar.

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels will explore the first season of the series from the two sides each with their own unique story. It’s either you join the Narcos or be an ally with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration). Each campaign has its own iconic location taken from the hit series: from Colombia’s impenetrable sun-drenched jungles to the damp streets of Medellin itself. Your favorite characters such as El Mexicano, Peña, and Primo are also on the game, ready and waiting to back you up with each own unique perks to help turn the tide in battle. Welcome to Colombia, 1980’s – the fires of El Patrón’s empire have been lit, its influence spanning borders, and expansion unabated. Influence and corruption is rife; cops, guards, politicians and those in between are falling into the pocket of the Medellín Cartel, and after years of production, America is finally taking notice.
Narcos: Rise of the Cartels tells the story of the hit Netflix TV series, of the rise and fall of El Patrón. Choose your side and ally with the DEA or conversely side with the Narcos. Explore recognizable locations from the show and take a role in pivotal world-altering events and battles that will define and shift the war on drugs.

Form your team from a variety of class-specific roles, join leading characters, upgrade your skills and take part in brutal turn-based combat, where your actions will have consequence. Engage with the strategic map and manage your resources to either expand the drug empire or look to thwart it at every opportunity.
