Releasing this month, on the 25th to be exact, is the upcoming first-person shooter game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. And yesterday on its official Youtube Channel, the game unveiled its launch gameplay trailer. Check it out below!
The footage lasts for more than a minute but the intensity of the action-packed scenes will leave you more than that. The video has surpassed 500,000 views in less than 2 days. The newly released trailer gives us a few more glimpses of bombing, shooting and tactics wherein this game is all about.
Aside from the action scenes, we’ve seen a lot on the released trailers. The game’s narrative director shared through an article at Escapist Magazine that the story of Modern Warfare is not depressing. It’s about the bonds between people who share a common goal and set out to achieve it. There are moments of loss, moments of humor, and moments of celebration. It’s cathartic and as strange as it sounds to say this, catharsis is fun (Something we should all look forward to the game).

Publisher Activision and developer Infinity Ward are proud to announce that the latest entry in the modern military shooting franchise, Call of Duty, is coming on October 25 under the title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It will launch worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC that will be available exclusively on Blizzard Battle.net, Blizzard Entertainment’s online gaming platform.
Furthermore, Activision and Infinity Ward surprised everyone when they announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feature cross-play support for multiplayer on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. It means players on consoles and PC will all be able to play against each other.
In addition, the companies revealed that the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will skip the series’ “traditional season pass.”
