Ori, the white guardian spirit, is back!
Developer Moon Studios and publisher Xbox Game Studios will release the sequel of the multi-awarded game, Ori and the Blind Forest, titled Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The game was first announced during E3 2017, later on shown again at E3 2018 and finally at E3 2019. A new gameplay trailer was unveiled together with its most awaited release date. The game is bound to release on February 11, 2020, exclusively for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows 10.
The gameplay for Ori and the Will of the Wisps has some changes from Ori and the Blind Forest. Will of the Wisps will rely on an autosaving rather than manually placed soul links. The sequential upgrade system of the first title has been abandoned for a shared system more similar to charms on Hollow Knight. Also, the game world unfolds to the player in the fashion of a Metroidvania with new movement abilities allowing the player to access previously inaccessible areas.
