Another classic RPG masterpiece from one of the most popular game series in Japan and worldwide, Final Fantasy is set to reborn as a remastered edition next year. It’s no other than Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, an action RPG from Nintendo which was released in Japan in 2003 and the west in 2004. And publisher Square Enix promised to bring back the classic game into a more beautiful game than ever. The Remastered Edition is set to release on the 23rd of January next year, what a great present to start a new year!

The game’s story follows a young group known as the Crystal Caravans. They embark on an epic journey to search for myrrh, a precious and rare liquid needed to cleanse and maintain crystal protecting their world from the deadly gas, miasma.

To all the fans of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, don’t worry, Producer Ryoma Araki said that they will keep faithful to the memories of the earlier players, assuring that Crystal Chronicles will return unchanged. Original player designs will be kept intact. Also, the project will keep faithful to its roots and update it for modern players, including AI character behavior.

In addition, the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will include enhanced graphics, new and arranged music, new character voice-overs and a cross-platform online multiplayer. And to improve multiplayer mode, the remastered edition will have new costumes for characters, new bosses to take down and new dungeons to explore.

As the Miasma creeps across the land, the people cling to the crystals for safety. Now, a caravan of intrepid explorers ventures forth in search of hope. He tried to rid the world of all miasma.
