3goo has revealed that they will be releasing Bare Knuckle IV [Special Edition] in Japan. A special edition that includes some collectibles that will surely satisfy the new and longtime fans of the game series.

For those who are not familiar, Bare Knuckle IV or Rage of Streets 4 in the west comes from the all-time favorite classic game series Streets of Rage or Bare Knuckle in Japan. In addition, this marks the series’ comeback after Streets of Rage 3  was released in 1994 for Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis. Though some of the games from the series were ported and re-released on various platforms.

Moreover, this side-scrolling beat em’ up game is back with its signature gameplay with new mechanics, beautiful hand-drawn visuals, and an amazing soundtrack.
