Approaching its release this month is no other than Kadokawa Games’ Root Film. In line with its nearing launch, Kadokawa’s president, Yoshimi Yasuda has been generously sharing various screenshots of the game.
In addition, the screenshots were shared through his Twitter account. Which features some scenes in the game, places, and a better look at the characters.
And according to Twinfinite, some of the places shown on the screenshot which are in the game, are locations that exist in the real world.

Game Overview
This game brings you to the Shimane prefecture wherein this is also the location of the Root Letter game. You’ll soon discover that you are in the deep thrilling murder story. Root Film is all about a TV series entitled Shimane Mystery Drama Project. This TV series was canceled for an unknown reason 10 years ago. Now, they want to bring back the project with the three teams with the director and an actress booked as a part of the cast. The main protagonist named Rintaro Yagumo, a 23-year old man doesn’t expect that his excitement will turn into terrors as a shocking crime happened in their location scouting process. Follow him and the rest of the characters of Root Film to find the truth behind this murder incident.
