Last week, nostalgia hit us hard when Bandai Namco released the “Those Days Continue on PS4” trailer for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS. MaxiBoost ON. Many of us get to reminisce about the good old days as the trailer features a man reminiscing his high school days playing the series in an arcade.
Now, before its full release on July 30, Bandai Namco unveiled another trailer that we can all look forward to when the game is in full swing. And to be specific, the video features the game’s singleplayer mode called Maxi Boost Missions.
If you are new to the series, Maxi Boost Missions is something that you can definitely look into. It is a mode where players can get a hold of the game with ease, as you can learn basic commands from it while battling against CPU units.
Get ready to take on 200 missions with even greater difficulty as you progress! The mode is divided into areas and missions being safeguarded by a boss CPU that you must defeat to step up into a tougher mission. And take note, according to Bandai Namco, this is a new mode that is only available in the PlayStation 4 version.

Game Overview
This game will bring you to the globally iconic Gundam universe where challenging combat awaits. The game also allows players to take two-on-two player-versus-player combat to the next level with Mobile Suits spanning the entire breadth of the franchise’s history. It features 183 playable units with each unique abilities that are suitable for your gaming playstyle. You can also choose in the three EX Burst Systems: Fighting Burst, Extend Burst and Shooting Burst. It also offers online co-op play or one vs one play.
