Pokemon Sword and Shield‘s Expansion Pass Part 2: The Crown Tundra is coming this October 22nd! In addition, Nintendo also revealed that they will release an all-in-one packs of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield that includes the base game and Expansion Pass on a single game card on November 6. In case you missed it, the Expansion Pass: Part 1 Isle of Armor was released last June 17.

More so, here is the trailer of The Crown Tundra DLC.

The Crown Tundra is the second area you’ll be able to visit with your Expansion Pass. See for yourself this vast landscape, with its drifts of glittering snow! In this frigid area with jagged, snowy mountains, people have settled in a small, tight-knit community.

Early in your adventures here, a man named Peony will appoint you as the leader of his exploration team in the Crown Tundra. You’ll be tasked with investigating the reaches of this frozen land—including the depths of a Pokémon Den, something you’ve so far been able to glimpse only during Max Raid Battles!

What’s more, it seems many Legendary Pokémon make the Crown Tundra their home. – Pokemon Sword and Shield

Game Overview

Pokemon Sword and Shield will feature massive stadiums for battles to take place and new Pokemon characters such as Wooloo the sheep, Gossifleur the cute little flower, Corviknight the flying taxi, and Drednaw the snapping turtle. It was also revealed in the special Pokemon Direct that a pair of legendary monsters will also be joining the game — Zacian and Zamazenta. In fact, these two are the characters designed around the theme of the sword and shield game.

Moreover, one of the core elements in the game is the Dynamax feature. It is a temporary transformation that can be activated in a given battle as a move. Using the Dynamax will allow your Pokemon to grow as giants with maximized power.

Furthermore, you can call up to three of your friends and play together in the multiplayer mode where up to four players can team up to defeat one of the massive creatures in the game.
