CD Projekt Red shares very important news today about their upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077. On the game’s official twitter account, the developer announced that the game will be delayed once again. Yes, you read it right!
If you can still remember, the game was supposedly out last April16, 2020 but it was changed to September 17 instead. After that the developer has pushed back the release to November 19, making fans wait for another 2 months. And as stated on the Twitter post below, the game was delayed once again to December 10.

So, to everyone who’s waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 this November, we might need an extra bag of patience before we could have our hands on one of the most awaited games of this year. But, it’s for the best.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming first-person perspective RPG developed and published by CD Projekt, the team behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game is adapted from the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020. The game was first announced in 2012 and the following year they released a teaser and in 2018 they confirmed the game for PS4 and XONE consoles at E3 2018.

Hopefully there won’t be any further delays and all these delays are worth it. I personally didn’t expecting another delays, especially after the game went gold about a month ago. Having said that, I understand CDPR concerns about getting the game 100% perfectly fine for all platforms and it is good to see that they are ready to take difficult and unpopular decisions to make sure that they produce a perfect game to its fans.
