Get ready to step on that gas, speed up, and become the greatest racing driver in the world! Racing game veterans SUMO Nottingham and Lucky Mountain Games welcome you to, Hotshot Racing!
The blisteringly fast arcade-style racing game will give you a new driving adventure that reproduces the classic arcade gameplay experience into the modern console.
Hotshot Racing features 16 challenging racing circuits that will put your driving skills to the test. Of course, awe-inspiring course environments will also be featured to complete the gaming experience.
But not only that. It will also offer other exhilarating new ways to play such as the ‘Time Trial’ and ‘Grand Prix’ modes, ‘Cops and Robber’s and ‘Drive or Explode.’ Sounds exciting already?
Furthermore, each mode is available to play in single-player, four-player split-screen, and eight-player online. On a side note, the ‘Time Trial’ mode is for single-player only.

Initially released in its digital version this early September, Hotshot Racing will finally receive its boxed version. It will hit both PS4 and Nintendo Switch in February next year, courtesy of publisher Curve Digital. As of the time of writing, the game’s Europe physical version for both platforms are now available for pre-order here at Playasia.

- CATCH THE DRIFT – Drifting is crucial in Hotshot Racing. Boost charges as the player drifts so maintaining it for as long as possible is vital to preserving maximum speed throughout a race
- DRIVE OR EXPLODE – In this mode each car has a bomb attached to it. Drop below a certain speed and BOOM! The trigger speed gets faster and faster, forcing players to maintain impossibly high speeds
- COPS AND ROBBERS – Robbers evade the cops. Cops catch the robbers, and in doing so convert them to the police side, leading to an exciting test of skill for the surviving criminals
