Mario Mario and Luigi Mario, two names entered the legend!

The origin of the names are lost in the mists of time, but probably they come from an Italian restaurant near Redmond called precisely Mario & Luigi, or from the 1953’s thriller movie entitled The Wages of Fear in which the actors Yves Montand and Folco Lulli portrayed two mustached men called, in fact, Mario and Luigi. Whatever the origin is; these two brothers are two actual pop-icons who are globally recognizable on par with Mickey Mouse, Pac-Man, or Hello Kitty; and as the majority of other pop-superstars also the Mario brothers are the symbols of a specific era… in this case the 80s. Designed to offer pure fun to all the gamers; the Mario series provides an unimaginable level of immersion, dozens of secret worlds, wonderful stories, stellar characters, and much more!

In 36 years of history, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad & Bowser, transcended the original medium creating a sort of “tribe” in which all the members share a particular interest in the series, and feel the need to communicate this passion with other people located at the four corners of the world exploiting social media services.

The new version of this Wii U classic of 2013 is set between the Mushroom Kingdom and the Sprixie Kingdom; this time Bowser has kidnapped the seven Sprixie Princesses, magical beings that can connect various worlds creating special pipes. To save them, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad are back to start a new quest; like the good old Super Mario Bros. 2 for NES, each character has different abilities according to tradition.

• Mario is the everyman with average speed and jumping.
• Luigi can reach great heights with his famed jump ability.
• Princess Peach can float in mid-air.
• Toad can speed through stages but has limited jump height.

But to the Fab Four, a new element is added… the cosmos protector Rosalina!

Also, to give us a richer experience; big N included a brand new original adventure; Bowser’s Fury!
Bowser is getting mad, and even his son Bowser Jr. doesn’t know what to do. Corrupted by a dark entity he’s now the savage & fearful Fury Bowser, and he terrorizes the inhabitants of the once peaceful Lake Lapcat. For the very first time; Mario & Bowser Jr. join the forces to stop him. Run ‘n jump through the Lake Lapcat archipelago to put an end to the dark corruption who transformed Mario’s archenemy into a wild kaiju; visit all the Cat Shrines to retrieve the mythical Giga Bell. Once got it; Mario can be even more Super turning himself into the titanic Giga Cat Mario. This is the only way to restore all things to their previous paradisiacal conditions…
