During the Nintendo Direct, last February, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force revealed the newest entry to the hack-and-slash game series, Samurai Warriors 5. This upcoming game marks the re-imagining of the franchise with a new storyline, new character designs, and more!
Mark your calendars as Samurai Warriors 5 or Sengoku Musou 5 is coming on June 24 in Japan and on July 24 to the rest of the world for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

As the latest numbered entry in the SAMURAI WARRIORS franchise, the story, characters, and visuals have been re-imagined to set the stage for a thrilling new series. The story takes place after the Ōnin War during the golden age of the Sengoku period, and features a story that centers on the lives of two of the most representative military commanders of this era: Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi.
