Get ready as Prototype is bringing a Key-developed visual novel! In the December issue of Weekly Famitsu, Prototype will release a romance visual Kanon for the Nintendo Switch. Get ready as this visual novel game launches on April 20 in Japan.
The Switch version will feature color readjustments and also the scroll up and down event CG since the game’s screen ration is 16:9. So, are you ready to welcome the Switch version in April?
Game Overview
Kanon is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key. It was first released in June 1999 for the Windows in Japan then followed by Dreamcast in September 2000, PlayStation 2 release in February 2002, PSP in February 2007, features phones in May 2007, Android release in November 2011 and iOS release in April 2013. However, no English version was released.

Yuuichi Aizawa, a high school student, returns to a town that he last visited 7 years previously to live with his aunt and cousin. For a reason he’s not quite sure of, he can hardly remember anything about his last visit, but initially this doesn’t seem to worry him too much.
The day after he arrives he goes into town where he (literally) bumps into a girl named Ayu Tsukimiya, and Yuuichi’s memories slowly begin to return.
