Modus Games and Secret Base have revealed the free DLC for Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons entitled Sacred Reunion. This free DLC is coming on April 4.

Sacred Reunion DLC includes three new characters, two new modes, online cooperative play, and new upgrades. So, are you ready for this upcoming free update as Sacred Reunion DLC launches on April 4?

Ranzou will make his grand return following his last playable appearance in Double Dragon IV, where he’ll be able to utilize the skills he’s learned through his ninja training to take down foes in the blink of an eye. If Ranzou veterans need a new challenge, they can use his powers in the brand-new Survival Mode. Survival Mode will challenge you to defeat waves of increasingly powerful enemies. Buff your character between rounds with a host of new, more impactful upgrades and last as long as possible. Additionally, join forces with a friend from anywhere in the world as online cooperative will be launching alongside “Sacred Reunion.”

Prepare to throw down the Double Dragon way in this fresh addition to the iconic beat ‘em up franchise. It’s the year 199X, and nuclear war has devastated New York City leaving its citizens to fight for survival as riots and crime engulf the streets.
