A Remaster of Doukoku Soshite… on PS4 & PS Vita

Guess who’s back? The 1998 horror title Doukoku Soshite of the Retro Gaming will now be hitting the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita Consoles. It was originally released for the Sega Saturn way back in the year 1998 by the Data East Corporation.

The original game includes a mini audio CD and trading cards. Momentarily, two more games in the series were released. Doukoku Soshite… Final Edition for the Sega Saturn in August 1998 while Revive… Sosei for the Dreamcast in 1999.

Now, Sega Saturn visual novel remake is currently under development by El Dia. The game is scheduled to have its release date on the 26th of this coming April to spread the horror in Japan. The game is now welcome for pre-orders!

The persons behind this successful horror visual novel are Sakiko Kojima, the writer, and Mamoru Yokota, the designer. Sakiko Kojima is the one responsible for the game’s story. While Mamoru Yokota is the one who made the classical retro-flavored character designs of the game.

【TRAILER】

In this game, you follow the role of a high-school student whom you can give any name you would love. The story started all out during one typical school ride bus. On their way to school, the protagonist was just having a conversation to one of his lovely classmates, named Riyo, until a car accidentally hit their bus and suddenly a powerful sound of a crash is the only present by that moment.

Because of this tragic accident, the protagonist was left unconscious. Soon as he woke up, he found himself and his classmates, together with a couple of unfamiliar faces, in a locked room of a creepy mansion.

The protagonist soon realizes that there is a sinister mystery lurking on in the strange mansion. Momentarily, people are being killed off one after another under inexplicable incidents. And, the victim’s corpses are nowhere to be found. As the game progress, the protagonist suddenly discovered a memo soaked in blood and a photograph that could be a possible hint for the mysterious circumstances.

The question now is, will you be able to help the protagonist gather all the pieces of information needed to solve the mystery? Will you be able to protect the people who are in serious danger in that evil mansion?

Figure it all out on your own and courageously embark your journey in this strange mansion.
