Utawarerumono: Chiriyuku Mono e no Komoriuta is a remake of the original Utawarerumono Windows game. Now, Leaf and Aquaplus are more than happy to reveal the information for its upcoming PS4 and PS Vita version.

【TRAILER】

The game focuses on the young protagonist. The young man was found unconscious on the road. He was later on saved by a girl named Eruruu. Eruruu lived in a certain world, where the inhabitants have beast-like ears and tails. They built their own village known as Yamayura and lived a simple life. Eruruu took the dying young man to their village and treat him until he is well again. The young man is seriously injured and is soon discovered that he lost his memory. Since all of the information about him is unknown, he is given the name “Hakuoro.”

As days passed by, Hakuoro’s wound healed and is soon accepted into the Yamayura village. While he is carrying the burden of the enigma of himself, he gives a helping hand for the village’s improvement. Hakuoro grew habituated to living in the village. He is very calm and diligent in nature, which evidently showed when he earned the villagers’ trust because of his good personality.

But, the danger in his life and of his villagers began when the harvest season came. The villagers’ efforts paid off when their harvest was surprisingly overflowing. However, the rumors spread to the greedy emperor who governs the country which the village was part of. The feudal lord sent his troops to Yamayura to seize the harvest.

Soon after, these negative actions were taken towards their village. Hence, Hakuoro decided to establish a rebellion group against the emperor.

And that is the start of the chaotic war that will completely ruin their world…
