The game publisher known for publishing the Disgaea franchise, NIS America, has announced last November 2018 that three of their digital-only PlayStation Vita games are coming to the retail stores this 2019. However, these three titles are the final PS Vita titles for NIS America. Along with the Penny-Punching Princess and The Longest Five Minutes, NIS America has included the dungeon RPG, The Lost Child.
The Lost Child is a dungeon crawler RPG developed by Crim and published by Kadokawa Games in Japan, NIS America in the Western regions, and Sony Interactive Entertainment in the Chinese territories. It was released first on Japan last August 24, 2017, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch then followed by the Western regions with the same consoles in 2018. Now, the game is currently available on digital for PlayStation Vita. The game sets in the modern-day Tokyo wherein the main protagonist Hayato Ibuki is an occult journalist. During his investigations along Tokyo, he encounters a strange girl in the series of mysterious suicides. This strange girl has bestowed upon him a mystical device which enables him to capture the celestial and arcane creatures. From a journalist to a savior, he must delve into the dungeons known as the Layers as he also solves the mystery of the mystical device. This is the start of his journey wherein it could decide the fate of the world on his hands.
In this game, you can capture more than 50 entities from myths and legends as each entity has three forms to progress. When you capture celestial and arcane creatures, distribute its skills as more than 250 skills to learn. Prepare for some massive dungeons along in the journey as there are 99 floors of deathly dangers are waiting for you to challenge.
