The iconic Cardfight!! Vanguard (カードファイト!! ヴァンガード エクス) franchise is getting a new game with Cardfight!! Vanguard EX (カードファイト!! ヴァンガード エクス（EX）) for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game publisher, FuRyu, has released the debut trailer for this upcoming card fight game.

In the debut trailer, it gives us an overview of the card battles that feature the latest cards and rules from the iconic trading card game. Plus, it also highlights the main protagonist, Izuru Shidou, in the original story for this video game. It also gives us a view on some of the familiar faces from the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise whether it is an anime or a manga.

For a brief background, Cardfight!! Vanguard (カードファイト!! ヴァンガード) is a famous Japanese multimedia franchise created by Akira Itō (Yu-Gi-Oh! R), Satoshi Nakamura (Duel Masters), and Takaaki Kidani for collaboration. With the popularity of this franchise, it currently consists of anime television series, manga series, anime/live-action film, trading card game, and now a video game.

Cardfight!! Vanguard EX tells the original story with the new characters on board. The original story created for this game was under the supervision of the original creators namely Akira Itou and Bushiroad. So, if you are a fan of Cardfight!! Vanguard and if you happen to be a PS4 and Switch owner, you better grab this because you can only experience the thrill that Cardfight!! Vanguard EX can only offer. In addition to the new characters, the main protagonist of this iconic franchise, Izuru Shidou (士し導どうイズル), will also appear to the new Vanguard world.
